I'm done with week 2!!  Pretty much every day this week I wanted to quit and give up.  Because I'd already pretty much used everything and I didn't know what to do next.  I'm thankful my sister was around to say "Just do it!" I had to suck it up and make it work.  When I got past my complaining and actually got dressed I was really happy that I did it!  I felt so much better about myself when I put in that extra effort.  Playing with my new jewelry was pretty fun too!

a little announcement...

I guess if you're friends with me on facebook or following me on twitter then you already know, BUT I wanted to make a little announcement on my blog.

I signed up at the very end of February as a Jeweler with Premier Designs!! If you've read my blog for a while then you've probably seen a fair share of Premier Designs Jewelry accompanying my outfits [see here].

I prayed about this a lot and it really felt like the right fit for me. Basically I'll go to people's homes to share about the company, how much FREE jewelry you can earn as a hostess and show all my gorgeous jewelry.

I got my kit last week and have had SO much fun playing with all the jewelry. I had my training show this past Thursday and it went great! I received all the benefits from being the hostess, hello FREE jewelry, AND I received all the profits as well! How awesome is that?! I have my very first party in a little less than two weeks and I'm looking forward to jumping in.

I don't want to be an annoying, but if you live in the Boise/Meridian area and you're interested in earning some free jewelry send me an email and let's chat about having a party!

I might be adding some new blog posts each week with my favorite jewelry pieces or different ways to wear some of the different jewelry.  I'm so excited for this new adventure!

I'm officially done with my first week of the 30x30 remix!!  It's been pretty smooth sailing so far.  I've tried not to repeat anything except for cardigans and shoes.  I was surprised on Day 4 when I woke up to snow.  I had a different outfit in mind and had to make some changes because of it.  I think it'll start getting more challenging in the next week.  I think there are two tops and two skirts that I haven't worn yet and will want to work in.  Ready or not....let's do week two!

Music Monday: The Band Perry

I got The Band Perry's cd last week and recently become obsessed with them.  Here are a couple of my favorite songs from their cd.

Fashion Friday: 30x30 Remix

I've been putting this off for months and finally decided to dive in head first. Thanks to Heather for helping me pick stuff out and giving me advice. She also inspired me to participate in Kendi's 30x30 remix. Heather did the remix last year, see HERE, HERE and HERE.

Forgive the not so great pictures. It was challenging enough to pick everything out, I decided to keep it simple with the pictures of my picks.

So in addition to my choices I get free reign of accessories, tights, belts, scarves, etc. to style each outfit. I will probably be doing an update blog post once a week or once every other week with my outfits. I don't want to put a lot of pressure on myself to get pictures up everyday, so I think this will help me keep it simple. There's a chance I won't be doing the 30 outfits in 30 consecutive days because of work. I have to wear a uniform to work and so depending on how long I'm at work for the day, I may or may not change into a remix outfit when I get home. I'm giving myself a little leeway in completing the challenge. I want it to be fun and not feel like something I HAVE to do.

Okay, ready or not....let's remix!

I'm not even sure where to begin. I don't even really know what to say.

I guess see Heather's posts HERE and HERE first. Kathy's trial has been post-poned multiple times and it is finally here.

The trial starts today or tomorrow, they might be finalizing juror selection today and then starting tomorrow. I'm lucky to have a job that is so flexible. I'll be able to attend most of the trial with my parents. Her family isn't allowed in the courtroom because they're witnesses. We don't want her to feel alone.

No matter what you hear or what you believe, please join me in praying for TRUTH. That both the prosecution and the defense will seek the truth throughout this trial. Pray for the judge and the jurors; for our justice system. Pray for the media and the public. Pray for Kathy and her family.

I can't even begin to comprehend this. It's going to be an emotional journey. God is in this and He is bigger than this. I can't wait to see how He is going to be working through this process.

Hi everyone, I just found out that the trial has been post-poned once again [this is the fourth time].  I'm praying that this is a GOOD thing.  Pray for rest for Kathy while things get worked out.  Pray for truth. Pray this is resolved soon.
